Because what we think and believe creates the foundation for relationships with clients and the way we approach our work, we think it's important to put it in writing.

Business

We believe business should be based on profitability and sustainability, both for our clients and ourselves. We aren't the cheapest, but we're not the most expensive, either. We charge what's necessary to remain in business and expand our ability to provide services, and we pride ourselves on delivering value in exchange.

Trite as it sounds, we believe in the Golden Rule—treating clients as we'd like to be treated. That involves respecting client concerns, being honest about business and professional issues, and working toward long-term relationships in which we can all be winners.

Technology

With web-based applications, we believe simplicity is inherently better than complexity. We believe it's important to build a solid technological foundation to allow for customized changes and upgrades. We utilize open source technology, available free or at low cost, and customize it for clients' use. All of our web applications are built on a PHP/MySQL platform, which is specifically designed to operate in a high-demand web environment.

Design

Design isn't about decoration. It's about providing visual support, clarification or memorability for ideas and messages. Design isn't about style, trends, or fashion, and it's only partly about taste. Not the designer's taste, and not the client's: it's the target audience's taste that must be served for an idea or message to be delivered effectively.
