Evolution also offers logo and print design, helping companies integrate and coordinate online and print messages. In 2005, the company was ranked number 6 among web development companies in New Mexico, based on annual revenue.

The company was formed by Ray Gulick in June, 2000, as a web design company, reflecting Gulick's 20 years as a graphic designer/art director who had transitioned to web design in the early 1990s. The company had no in-house expertise in database development or programming until 2002, when Kim Melson joined as a principal, bringing nearly two decades of programming and database development experience. The company is a limited liability commpany located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, serving Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and the southwestern states (New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Texas).

Evolution is a member of New Mexico Information Technology and Software Association (NMITSA). NMITSA is the state's preeminent information technology advocacy organization providing focused, value-added services and initiatives to both industry and associate members.
